Help Searching the Bible for Words or Phrases

• Do not use quotes (single or double) or special characters in the search. To search for a phrase, enter the text without using quotation marks, then select the option: Match EXACT Word / Phrase. For example: For God so love the world
  
  
• Capitalization is not important for the search results.
  
  
• If you can not find a particular phrase in one translation, try a different one. We have added the Kings James Version (KJV) to help with your search.
  
  
• Limit your search by the New Testament, Old Testament, a range of books or a by a single book.
  
  
• To search just a single book of the Bible, select just the Book Start option, under Limit Search by Book.
  
  
• If you can't find the word or phrase, try limiting your search. Or you may be thinking of a different translation. Try a different word or search by passage (verse).
