Donor Advised Fund

Giving Your Resources Without Giving up Control

A Donor Advised Fund is a great way for you to provide for International Bible Society and other Christian ministries you support.

Here is how it works: A Donor Advised Fund is established with a minimum initial gift of $10,000. With this gift, an account will be set up in a name you choose. You will receive a deduction for the initial gift amount in the tax year the gift is given. The money from the gift will be invested by International Bible Society Ministries Foundation in a vehicle that will guarantee the principal, i.e., a money market.

When the time comes for you to make a gift from your Donor Advised Fund, you simply give instructions to the Planned Giving office as to the amount and what qualified Christian ministries the funds are to be sent. International Bible Society Ministries Foundation asks that 10% of all distributed principal and income be given as a gift to International Bible Society to fund Bible translation and distribution. You may make additional gifts to your Donor Advised Fund at anytime.

Donor Advised Fund Advantages

• All administration of the fund is handled by the International Bible Society Ministries Foundation staff. You simply fill out one form to recommend distributions.
