Position Title: Credit Manager The Credit Manager position exists to manage the Credit Department of STL Distribution, control credit risk of the organization, manage collections of accounts, and report results to management. He/she will work closely with the VP, Finance, and supervise six credit clerks. The ideal candidate will have five-plus years’ experience in a collections department, with at least one year of supervisory experience. Have a strong understanding of collections regulations and possess analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft office products, be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills. This position is a clearing house for qualitative and quantitative evaluations of IBS-STL international programs. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree with statistical evaluation or analytical focus as a major component, or 5 years in a related field. Proven background in statistical evaluation and quantitative and qualitative analysis is necessary. Experience in international cultural relations is essential. High aptitude in understand and using computer databases. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Must also be a team player, able to with other staff for a common goal. Five years of fundraising and/or outside sales experience with the ability to close and a demonstrated success in meeting financial targets a must. He/she must be willing to travel up to 40 percent; some international travel included. The successful candidate will be well networked with a discipline for planning, evaluation and reporting.
